When to Schedule Pack-Out & Storage Services

Cost of Pack-out and Pack-back are subject to insurance approval. Mostly, the cost is calculated on a Time and Material (T&M) basis using insurance accepted software backed up by daily logs that show the names the team members on site, times there, the materials they used from boxes to packing wraps. All this information is put into the T&M software along with supporting logs and photos and sent to the insurance company to review, approve and pay us direct.

Frontier crew will not pack-out any medicines, drugs, medical equipment, guns, ammunition, gas canisters (Propane etc.), money, jewelry, bonds, or other high value items. You as the owner should pack these items yourself and keep them separated. Laptops and computers have batteries and personal information. Keep them safe and checked by a trusted computer store.

Works of Art can be packed out, but we use specialist Art Packers who store in a climate-controlled facility and who inventory separately. Again, this process is pre-approved by your adjuster.

You have the option of getting a storage facility of your own and we will transport your contents there and load it up for you. It will be your facility and you have the key and your insurance company will need to agree to reimburse you.
We will provide you a printed copy of the Pack-out Report showing which contents are packed in which bar-coded boxes. The benefit here is that you have direct access to your contents at any time the facility is open.
The alternative is to have Frontier storage your contents in our vaults. A vault is a 4x4x8 wooden box which is standard in the industry. Each vault is labelled and cross referenced to the boxes. Large items are double wrapped and stored on a numbered rack space. Most standard homes of around 2,000sf have 4 to 6 vaults/racks in our 20,000sf facility.
